In a celebration of tradition and ambition, Lovely College marks a major milestone in its 24th year of revolutionary impact. The two-day annual conference “Sanidhya 2025 – Share the Vision” brought together more than 5,500 LPU staff and faculty to reflect on our collective journey and set the stage for a revolutionary future powered by artificial intelligence.
The event celebrated LPU's historic journey and honored more than 300 distinguished employees who have made monumental achievements spanning up to 25 years. The esteemed recipients include Professor and Executive Dean Dr. Sourav Lakhanpal, Senior Accountant Mr. Ranju Sharma, Professor and Dean Dr. Gaurav Sethi, and Professor and Dean Dr. Amit Dutt, whose contributions have been instrumental in shaping the tradition of the university.
The Sanidya 2025 celebrations unfolded as an expression of togetherness, collaboration and creative endeavor. The campus has been transformed into a vibrant hub of participation with competitive events in six-a-side cricket, futsal, volleyball, basketball and badminton, as well as the Unistaff Sports Fest featuring popular Esports titles such as BGMI and Free Fire. Creativity and cultural heritage took center stage at the Sanidiya Fashion Show Grand Finale, with department heads shining on the runway under the theme “VIRASAT: The Royal Legacy.” Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder-General LPU, addressed the gathering and praised the united efforts of the LPU fraternity behind this year's exceptional achievements. As LPU prepares to celebrate its Silver Jubilee year in 2026, marking an extraordinary journey of 25 years, Dr Mittal outlined a clarion call for radical change.
Dr. Mittal articulated the need for a decisive operational shift, championing the adoption of AI, a revolution in branding and marketing, enhanced global job opportunities, student-led revenue generation, and a new push for research to propel LPU to the top of global university rankings by 2030.
