The competition featured innovative projects built using Agent Workbench by participants in Japan and South Korea, championing the fusion of agent AI and low-code.
SEOUL, South Korea, Dec. 23, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — OutSystems, a leading AI-powered low-code development platform, today announced the winners of the AI Agent Hackathon 2025, announced at an awards ceremony held in Roppongi, Tokyo, on Friday, December 19th.
The hackathon, which ran from November 1 to 30, aimed to empower participants to create an AI-powered, low-code future by developing AI agents capable of autonomous reasoning and action to support and enhance human work. 21 participants from Japan and South Korea competed to build innovative agent applications using Agent Workbench.

Participants were evaluated based on criteria targeting effective use of AI and agent workbench, clarity of problem-solving approach, quality and reproducibility of implementation, and overall business impact. The winning team includes:

- 1st place: Hanwha Systems Co., Ltd. / Team: NeoNova (a team that quickly creates new value using AI and low-code) – (South Korea)
Title: Building Accessibility-Centric Intelligent Services for a World Where Digitally Disadvantaged Users Can Easily Access Services (Welli)
What it is: A voice-based AI life support app designed for older adults who face digital access barriers. - 2nd place: Mitsui Information Co., Ltd. (MKI) / Team: Started AI
Title: AI agent “Ibemaru-kun” who will be your “right hand” in event planning
What it is: An agent AI tool that automates internal event planning tasks. - 3rd place: LY Corporation/Team: LINE Yahoo
Title: Meeting brush-up ~Measuring and eliminating wasteful meetings~
What it is: An app to improve meeting quality by identifying and reducing inefficiencies.
