Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Ring recently announced Smart Video Search in the United Arab Emirates. This is a new AI feature that allows customers to easily find specific moments in their Ring event history.
Smart Video Search is one of Ring's most advanced AI features. Leveraging Ring IQ, a combination of Ring AI technology and in-house expertise, we use Visual Language Modeling (VLM) to match text and images and deliver results quickly. Instead of scrolling through video footage to figure out “when the package was delivered” or “what time the kids got home,” users can type queries directly into the Ring app to quickly pinpoint the right moment. Through smart video search, customers will be able to search for queries related to specific events during the day related to family, pets, home, or personal interests.

Price and availability
Smart Video Search works with all Ring video doorbells and cameras and is rolling out in public beta to all UAE customers subscribed to the Ring Home Premium plan, which is currently available for a subscription fee of $20 per month or $200 per year.
