IBM has announced an ambitious initiative aimed at equipping 5 million young people in India with specialized skills in artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity and quantum computing by 2030.
Delivered through the IBM SkillsBuild platform, the program aims to develop a future-ready workforce by providing students and adult learners with essential access to innovative technologies that are redefining the global economic landscape.
To realize this vision, IBM plans to integrate cutting-edge technology education into schools, universities, and vocational training environments.
A pivotal aspect of this initiative includes a strategic partnership with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The partnership will focus on embedding AI education into current academic structures, training educators, and providing practical experience.
