Through this partnership, a TECHNOVATE hub will be set up within an existing innovation center (operated by AICTE). These hubs serve as central points connecting many specialized university centers of excellence. This network gives universities everywhere, especially those in villages and small towns, access to the best IT tools, knowledge and expert support.
The first TECHNOVATE hub will be launched at AICTE Center in Jaipur. They plan to open more in the future. The hub offers special training programs for teachers and students, providing them with practical exercises, advanced technical skills, and knowledge of global standards.
CTE provides free assistance (called pro bono support) to universities, teachers, startups, and student inventors. This support leverages experts from India and abroad to provide mentorship, incubation, and guidance in creating new products (prototypes) and protecting ideas in the emerging technology space (Industry 4.0).
AICTE Chairman Professor Sitaram said this partnership is key to bringing together the full range of knowledge, laboratories and expert support across India. This will enable our youth to create the technologies of tomorrow and enable India to become a world leader in new technological ideas.
CTE Director A. Alagarsamy added that this partnership allows universities and businesses to work together to generate powerful and useful new ideas.
Sairaman Srinivasan, CTE's Chief Strategy Officer, emphasized that TECHNOVATE provides world-class tools and great ideas to students. This gives all students the opportunity to develop their creativity.
