Axis has added new AI-enabled products to its suite of networking solutions, including thermal and visual PTZ devices and rugged bullet cameras with enhanced analytics performance.
In recent weeks, Axis Communications has expanded its network camera lineup with several important product releases.
These include an all-in-one AI-powered bispectral camera that provides dual thermal and visual surveillance in one PTZ device. Plus, four next-generation AI-powered bullet cameras that deliver exceptional image quality and forensic detail.
Built on the latest Axis system-on-chip, ARTPEC-9, these new Axis IP cameras are said to offer fast performance and the ability to run superior analytical applications at the edge.
For example, AXIS Object Analytics is preinstalled to detect, classify, track, and count people, vehicles, and vehicle types.
Additionally, Axis Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform, reportedly protects devices and provides FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified secure key storage and operation.
AXIS Q6411-LE Bispectral PTZ
AXIS Q6411-LE bispectral PTZ camera features thermal detection and visual verification, supports AV1 codec, and is said to offer accelerated performance for unparalleled situational awareness.
In addition to AXIS Object Analytics, it is also compatible with AXIS Perimeter Defender, which enhances area detection with thermal technology and includes Auto Tracking 2 with orientation aids and click and track functionality.

AXIS P1475-LE and AXIS P1485-LE offer 2 MP, while the other two AXIS P1487-LE and AXIS P1488-LE offer 5 MP and 8 MP respectively.
Additionally, AXIS P1488-LE is equipped with a large 1/1.2-inch sensor, ensuring stable performance even in low-light conditions.
With IR optimized for monitoring in pitch-black environments and Axis Zipstream, which significantly reduces bandwidth and storage requirements and costs, these powerful devices offer unparalleled performance advantages.
