Fangzhou and Tencent Healthcare, a leading provider of AI-driven Internet healthcare solutions, have jointly launched a comprehensive “AI + Chronic Disease Management” solution, marking a major step in the widespread deployment of artificial intelligence in China’s healthcare sector. The partnership will provide industry partners with an integrated technology pipeline from model training and scenario validation to deployment, with the aim of taking chronic disease management to a new level of intelligent and efficient service delivery.
The solution is built on Fangzhou’s AI+H2H (hospital-to-home) ecosystem, a core architecture that incorporates unique large-scale modeling capabilities into chronic disease workflows. As a leading cloud service provider, Tencent Cloud offers extensive capabilities in core technology areas such as cloud computing, big data, and artificial intelligence. This strategic partnership provides a solid technology foundation for AI-powered transformation of chronic disease management.

“Combining Fangzhou’s medical and chronic disease management expertise with Tencent Healthcare’s industrial-grade infrastructure will bring validated and scalable AI capabilities to the entire healthcare ecosystem, establishing a new standard for the evolution of chronic disease management in China,” said Dr. Xie Fangmin, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Fangzhou.
The launch follows Fangzhou’s recent AI growth momentum. The company’s Medical Report Interpretation feature, introduced in October, has seen particularly high adoption rates, meeting the needs of a wide range of patients to better understand complex test results. The increase in engagement levels and session frequency also reflects users’ growing trust in AI capabilities.
Safety and compliance remain at the heart of Hoshu’s approach. To address the risk of AI hallucinations in sensitive clinical settings, the company implemented multiple layers of protection, including reinforcement learning with a curated knowledge base, rule-based monitoring, and integrity checks for medical scenarios.
Fangzhou built the model on Tencent Healthcare’s TI platform and leveraged a one-stop training, evaluation, and deployment pipeline to enable continuous model optimization. Tencent Healthcare’s vector database can store hundreds of billions of domain-specific medical knowledge entries, provides millisecond-level semantic searches, and improves the accuracy and factuality of RAG-based output. For compliance assurance, Tencent Healthcare’s AI Security WAF provides granular threat detection and encryption protection for sensitive medical data, ensuring solutions meet regulatory standards for clinical AI.
This partnership is closely aligned with the National Health Commission’s recently published guidelines on the development of safe and standardized “AI + healthcare” applications. The companies indicated that their joint solutions will accelerate digital transformation in chronic care, strengthen health service delivery, and support long-term national health goals under the Healthy China 2030 initiative.
