BPGP: BA and AI Applications 2025: Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad has launched a two-year blended MBA program in Business Analytics and AI. This course is designed for professionals and entrepreneurs interested in integrating advanced analytics and AI-driven capabilities with leadership, strategy, and management expertise.
IIM-A Director Prof. Bharat Bhasker, Dean (Programmes) Prof. Diptesh Ghosh and Chairman of Blended MBA Business Analytics and AI Prof. Anindya Chakrabarti announced the admissions and presentation of the program. This program highlights the demand for management professionals who can integrate modern leadership and strategic capabilities with advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence frameworks to deliver large-scale business impact.
Who can apply

Candidates applying should have a BA/CA/CS/ICWA/CMA or equivalent degree in any field with aggregate marks of 50% or above or equivalent CGPA in their final degree from a recognized university.

Professionals and entrepreneurs with a minimum of three years of full-time work experience after completing three years of graduation as of March 31, 2026 are also eligible to apply.

Professionals and entrepreneurs with at least two years of full-time work experience after completing four years of graduation as of March 31, 2026 are also eligible to apply.

CAT/GMAT/GRE scores from the past five years (GMAT Classic/Focus Edition exam scores and GRE exam scores are valid) are accepted.

Blended MBA Program: Admission Process
Please see below for the admission process for the MBA program.
Candidates are selected through an admissions process that includes standardized test scores and personal interviews.
Candidates will be shortlisted for a personal interview based on their standardized test (or BPGP: IIMA Entrance Test for BA and AI) scores.
Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a committee of IIMA faculty. Applicants are selected based on criteria including analytical ability, quality of work experience and education, and potential for professional success.
Entrance exam details
BPGP: BA and AI entrance exams will be conducted online. This test is specially curated for those who cannot apply with traditional CAT, GMAT, and GRE test scores. To appear in the entrance exam, candidates must apply through the application portal. The entrance exam will be conducted at specific exam centers across the country, the list of which will be published soon.
The entrance to BPGP:BA and AI will be similar to other management aptitude tests. The exam is 90 minutes long and is divided into three sections.
a) quantitative aptitude;
b) analytical reasoning
c) language ability;
