Google updates its generative AI chatbot, Bard AI, to let individuals write code and develop software. The chatbot was released to the public last month to compete with Microsoft’s Bing AI chatbot.
The announcement comes after revealing that some Google employees who tested the chatbot called the system a “pathological liar” and pleaded with the company not to start it, Bloomberg reports. was broken. Despite this, the bard AI chatbot has not been popular among employees since its inception.
Bard AI helps you create code in 20 programming languages including Java, C++ and Python. It also helps you debug your code and explain it to your users. AI chatbots are currently only open to a limited number of users with whom they can communicate and seek assistance. Google CEO Sundar Pichai, who launched limited access to AI in March 2022, told employees that the product’s success hinges on public testing. Pichai has since revealed that the tech giant plans to add conversational artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to its search engine.
The tech giant said Bard AI can optimize code to improve speed or efficiency with basic prompts like “Can you make that code faster?”
