(Web Desk) – Saudi Arabia's GO Telecommunications Group will establish GO AI Hub Pakistan in October 2025. This is a new initiative aimed at strengthening the relationship between artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure and innovation between Riyadh and Islamabad.
The announcement came during a meeting at the company's Riyadh headquarters between Federal Information Technology and Telecommunications Shaza Fatima Khawaja and GO Group executives, according to an official statement released on Saturday.
Both sides explore paths of cooperation in data centre development, technical talent training and expanding Pakistan's digital infrastructure, reflecting a common vision to enhance regional ties and technological advancements.
Go AI Hub will serve as a platform for knowledge transfer, capacity building and co-creation for digital solutions, promoting Saudi Arabia and Pakistan collaboration in emerging technologies.
Minister Shaza Fatima praised the group's expertise in AI, cybersecurity and data-driven services, highlighting its role in promoting digital innovation. She also repeats Prime Minister Shebaz Sharif's “Digital Nation Vision Pakistan” and seeks to position the country as a regional technology hub.
The official launch ceremony of the AI Hub will feature representatives and industry leaders from both countries.
