Openai's new artificial intelligence video app SORA is already taking the top spot appleDespite being only an invitation, the app store is the number one free app.

SORA, released on Tuesday, allows users to create short AI videos and share them in their feeds. This app is available to iPhone users, but you will need an invitation code to access it.

Here's how to get the invitation code for your SORA app:

• First, download the app from the iOS App Store. Please note that SORA requires iOS 18.0 or later to download.
• Log in using your OpenAI account.
• Click “Notify” when access is open.

You will then be presented with a screen requesting an access code.

Now, Openai says it prioritizes payments for CHATGPT Pro users of SORA Access. The app is only available in the US and Canada, but is expected to be deployed in additional countries soon, the company said.

If you don't know who can provide the access code, then you can use the official Openai Discord server, as well as X and reddit thread.

Once access is entered, you can start generating AI videos using text or images. Users can also “remix” cameos and other posts as characters in the video.

The app is powered by the new SORA 2.0 model, an updated version of last year's original SORA model. The video generation model is “physically accurate, realistic and more controllable” than its previous systems, the company said in a blog post.
