Trump drops a strange AI music video featuring Vought, Vance
President Donald Trump on Friday shared an AI-generated music video about true social, featuring the cover of the Blue Oyster Cult's “Grim Reaper (Don't Fear)” . In this video, former Director of the Management and Budget Office (OMB) played cowbells in fictional bands by Grimm Reaper, Vice President of Drum JD Vance and Trump himself. The animation in the video shows him swinging a sickle across Washington, DC. Meanwhile, the lyrics show that they laugh and praise Vought's role in cutting government agencies as part of “Project 2025.”
The lyrics of the song are, “Now it's time for them / Power is gone here / Las Vault is the Grim Reaper, and he shakes the pen, brain / Your baby comes here comes here
The video ends with real footage of the Democrats while the singer speaks above, “Black, black, black.” The final shot shows Trump trick-or-treat support of the kids in Halloween costumes.
The video was created by the Daily Meme Team, a group known for creating controversial pro-Trump digital content. This latest post follows extensive criticism of the 47th President's previous AI-generated video, with many being labelled as odd, aggressive and potentially dangerous.
AI video appears amid ongoing federal closures.
Trump shared the post late Thursday night and met with Vought earlier in the day. In the Social Post of Truth, he wrote: “I will meet today with Las Vault, known for Project 2025, to decide which Democratic institutions (I think I'm considering political fraud) and decide whether those cuts are temporary or permanent.”
