AI-generated security camera feed shows Sam Altman stole a GPU from the target – ironic video shows Openai CEO needed for Sora reasoning

AI Video & Visuals

A hilariously ironic AI-generated video is creating a round online, showing Openai CEO Sam Altman being arrested for stealing a GPU from a supermarket. The clip shared with X shows Altman taking GPUs from the shelves in a store that looks like a target. He is then accused by a security man, saying, “Please, Sora's reasoning really needs this. This video is too good.” Funnier is that the video appears to have been made by Openai employees.

The sharing clip was created with SORA 2 and is currently one of the most popular videos combining AI generators and video sharing apps. The SORA 2 is a new model for Openai, and was launched more than a year after the company debuted its groundbreaking video generation model this week. They also turned the mobile app into a social media platform similar to Tiktok, allowing creators to share videos generated by AI.
