The new UI 8.5 firmware is now online for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This will give you a proper look at the rumored Galaxy AI-powered notification summary feature first. Well, perhaps “appropriate” is not the right word. Notification summary feature has been added, but it is not currently working.
Still, this is the clearest confirmation that Samsung is working to make it easier to digest with the help of AI. When you first pull down the notification panel in one UI 8.5, you will be greeted with a pop-up explaining the functionality.
As mentioned before, the feature is not working yet.[設定]The menu has the option to select which apps to exclude from notification summary, but for now, all installed apps are listed by default and there is no option to remove them.
Like many other AI features in one UI, notification overviews rely on Google Cloud. This means that once the official UI 8.5 update is deployed and the features are fully functional, it must work reliably.
