AVEPoint refers to clarifying partner AI opportunities

AI For Business

The London AVEPoint Partner Event highlights that a powerful combination of data management, security and governance is the realm that channels can enjoy artificial intelligence (AI) rewards.

Get-Together highlighted the opportunities generated by providing AI backed by robust data foundations and the ability to leverage superior data that is secured and maintained in line with governance.

Dux Raymond SY, Chief Brand Head of Avepoint, used AVE's keynote to urge the channel to embrace AI and work together to build a stronger future.

He said heavy investments from Microsoft and Meta and others demonstrated where key players thought the market was on the rise. There is also the market reality, with some businesses now being replaced with options generated by fresh AI.

Sy said trust has emerged as a major currency, and to believe in AI, the data that was generating insights had to be solid. He advised his partners to start working with customers to get access to quality data.

SY added that AI is creating new growth opportunities as it is “no longer an option,” and research showed that most customers plan to adopt or accelerate their investments. “We've seen reports around reports…everyone is planning on hiring them. They've already developed solutions and they're offering a bit of business value,” he said. “We live in this world, and despite this, your customers and customers all over the world are lost.

“What we need to support our customers is to show our customers where AI can make a significant impact,” SY said, adding that there are several areas where partners can make a difference. “Number one, harness data for decisions. Second, scaling creativity and productivity, and third, number three can ignite conversion and resilience,” he said.

Unstructured information

Sy reflected the idea of starting an AI journey with data, warning that for most customers they are dealing with unstructured information.

“85% of business data is unstructured,” he said. “Email, chat, team, ward, PowerPoint, Excel, and no one is doing much about this. You can help your customers by leveraging AI and using data to make good decisions.

“Start thinking about the line of business that has customers,” SY said. “A smarter solution can provide things they can't even think of to help your business, helping to increase creativity and productivity, and as easy as freeing your team from repetitive tasks.

“You're making sure people can focus on high-level workloads,” he said. “It's innovation, growth moves faster, is much more efficient, and it allows them to unlock the lock on something new that they've never imagined before.”

SY said that because they used AI to generate fresh labor patterns, it means that they can use the right data to provide innovation, and that partners will be a source of support and growth around AI.
