On Tuesday morning, Akshay visited Instagram stories to give an explanation. He wrote, I recently came across some Aineli-equipped videos of the film trailers that show me in the role of Maharishi Valmiki. I would like to make it clear that all such videos are fake and are created using AI. ”

The actor didn't just stop calling the video a fake. He expressed deep concern about how misinformation has not been checked. Emphasizing the role of news channels, Akshay said, “What's worse, some news channels have decided to pick them up as 'news' without even checking if these are real or even changing. ”
