China Unicom is working to deep integration of digital intelligence technology into real-world scenarios, accelerating the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence to benefit industry and society.
China Unicom Chairman Chen Zhongyue highlighted the strategic importance of AI agents in commercial value realization, emphasizing that “AI agents are the key to unlocking commercial value.”
For enterprise customers, China Unicom has built a cutting-edge big data platform and developed high-quality data sets. The company has created over 40 industry-specific large-scale models and launched the “Gewu” industrial internet platform. This initiative has led to the implementation of 30,000 industrial internet projects and the development of 7,500 5G connecting factories.
Additionally, China Unicom supports 6.5 million SMEs in the transition to cloud computing, data use and AI empowerment.
For individual and household customers, China Unicom has upgraded its smart family platform and deployed products powered by cloud-based and AI. The company is also expanding its applications such as AI-powered medical consultations, smart home devices, and intelligent security solutions. An important initiative is the promotion of Zhijia Tongtong, a family robot developed independently by China Unicom, bringing advanced AI support to households across the country.
Through these efforts, China Unicom has firmly met its mission to utilize AI for the benefit of all sectors of the industry and all households, driving digital transformation and intelligent advancement across the country.
