Google introduces AI-powered virtual fitting room with price tracking tools

AI News

Google has come up with a number of AI features. This helps shoppers make smart purchases without wasting time trying multiple outfits.

New Delhi:

Google, one of the leading high-tech giants, has rolled out a new set of AI-powered shopping features in the US market, including a virtual Tryon app called Doppl. This feature allows users to upload photos to see how their clothes look on their bodies, making online shopping more personal and accurate. In addition to this, Google has improved its price tracking tools and AI-driven fashion search queries, enhancing the overall shopping experience.

AI Virtual Trion with doppl

As reported by Mashable India, Google's biggest update is the launch of DOPPL, a virtual fitting room app that allows shoppers to try on clothes digitally.

How do I use this feature?

  • Uploading full-length photos allowed users to see a realistic preview of how the outfit fits their figure.
  • You can also flip through styles, save your favorites, and share outfit previews with friends before deciding on a purchase.
  • This innovation bridges the gap between online and offline shopping by giving buyers confidence and reducing the likelihood of product returns.

Smarter price tracking tools

In addition to Virtual Try-On, Google has further enhanced its price tracking system. Shoppers can now alert specific items based on size, color and budget. Google will notify them when the product matches your desired price. This is thanks to the shopping graphs that scan the web for the best deals. This will eliminate the need for users to continue checking multiple sites for discounts.

AI-driven fashion search

Google also makes fashion searches more conversational and accurate. Shoppers can quickly find relevant options by typing phrases like “affordable floral maxi dress” or “oversized hoodies under USD 30 USD.” This natural language search makes it easy for users to discover clothes that suit their tastes.

Global availability soon

These features, currently available in the US, are expected to expand to more countries in the future, including India. By combining AI personalization, transaction tracking and natural search, Google is set up to redefine the way people shop online.
