President Trump said on Tuesday that the viral video, which appears to be someone throwing a big garbage bag out of the top window of the White House, “probably generating AI,” and that the windows are sealed, bulletproof and are extremely heavy.
Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doucy has nurtured a widely circulated video during an oval office press conference that appeared to capture the president's off guard.
“No, it's probably being generated by AI,” Trump said. “In fact, you can't open the windows, do you know why? They're all very armored and bulletproof.”
Doucy asked if Trump thought the video was fake.
“I know all the windows there, so that's what I need,” Trump added. …I've never looked at the window. In fact, my wife complained about it the other day, and she said, “I love getting a little fresh air in,” but you can't, they're bulletproof. Number one, they are sealed, and the second window weighs around 600 pounds. You have to be pretty strong to open them. ”
Trump asked Doocy where the windows were. At that point, the reporter approached Days and showed the president a video over the phone. At that point, someone suggested that it may have something to do with the ongoing White House renovation.
“No, all those windows are sealed,” he said again. “They are sealed, you can't open them.”
Doocy later made a swapping segment on a Live Fox News broadcast.
“When I'm on the phone, it looks like I'm letting the president know that there's an ICBM,” Doocy says. “I wasn't, but this afternoon a viral video surfaced on social media, with a ton of pickups that appear to show one of the windows of the White House residence behind us at the second level of open.
Doucy said he learned “lectors” from (most) light moments. “Next time, I'll bring my iPad in case the Vice President or Secretary of Defense wants to see what you're showing to the President.”
