“Across the industry, organizations recognize that the same visual data that once was purely used for security can only be driven critical business intelligence if carefully processed,” said Simon Randall, CEO of Pimloc.
“Richdale brings the rare combination of technical depth, policy expertise and strategic vision needed to help us lead this shift. As we continue to expand, her leadership will help shape how we deliver privacy-safe AI that transforms videos into trustworthy engines for insights, decision-making and social values.”
Richdale is currently a venture partner at Amadeus Capital Partners and an executive fellow at the World Economic Forum, advising Global Boards and Policymakers on industry transformation with AI and quantum computing. She is an advisor to Sandboxaq, an AI and quantum spinoff from Alphabet, and also sits on the board of Assura, a Swiss health insurance company.
Her previous leadership roles include senior positions at Libra/Diem (Meta's Blockchain Payment Initiative), Idquantique and L1 Identity Solutions (now Idemia).
“Responsible use of AI is one of the most important business and governance challenges of our time,” says Richdale. “Across the sector, organizations are sitting in a vast amount of visual data that can promote operational insights only when used in a way that respects privacy and regulatory restrictions.”
“Pimloc's secure editing platform allows for just that: Video intelligence, the first privacy, delivers real-time value without compromising ethics, trust, or compliance. We are excited to take part in this pivotal moment and help Pimloc grow across the industry where privacy, insight and trust cannot be non-synthesized.”

As we witness the revolution in digital transformation across all channels, AI tools are reshaping omnichannel games, from customer experience personalities to inventory optimization, discovering insights into consumer behavior, and enhancing the human elements of retailers' business.
With AI and Gen AI in particular shaking the “severe hyped” tag in 2025, set to be the year in which AI and especially Gen AI will be incorporated into retail business processes, the newly launched awards celebrate global technology innovation in a fast-moving omni-channel world, and as a result, the benefits of retailers, shoppers and employees.
Our recipients are companies that not only recognize the possibilities of AI, but also make them available for use in everyday work.
The winners will be announced at an evening event held in the Barbican in central London on Thursday, January 29th.
