Will Smith came for intense criticism after appearing to be using AI in a promotional video for the summer 2025 tour.
The famous actor and rapper (56) began British leg based on a Sunday night true story tour. All Monday night shows will go further in Cardiff.
The album of the same name – his first studio album in 20 years – was released earlier this year, but was panned in the UK not by charts, but primarily by music critics.
Before moving to Wolverhampton University, he released a promotional video on Instagram ahead of his live date playing Manchester and London after Cardiff tonight.
To accompany him on the video, Will sent a message to his fans, saying, “My favorite part of the tour is seeing you close by. Thank you for seeing me too.”
However, more and more fans have been accusing the black man of using AI to enhance the video over the past few days after realising a strange incident in the background.
Some of the footage appears to show fans with blurred faces, while other moments seem to run through people's extended arms as if they weren't there.
From the video featuring confused and fixed fans, “You can make it help me survive cancer. thx'.
The woman in front of the man appears to hold her hand, but the headband worn by another person in the crowd is shown passing through her arms.
People in the comments noticed immediately. Kentafari accused him of “half of the footage is AI,” and Tibbytappy begged the fresh Prince's Star to stop using AI.
Rho3685 commented, “The AI on this is scary,” and Micronautgirl sent out Facepalm Emoji, saying, “The AI crowd posted on the official page is amazing.”
Boxnemo speculated on Reddit. “This is odd because his tour seems to be on track, but for some reason his team decided to use the AI crowd for chunks of this clip.”
The embarrassing Iideal-18 states: I think I'm the real people who come to see what their own melted wax work looks like. ”
The British leg of the tour is said to have been successful so far, but live performances emerged during periods of uncertainty in Will's acting career.
Michael Bay, who has worked on many projects in the past, appears to have stepped away from his latest collaboration, including the first two bad boys films.
It is reported that Bay left the film entitled “Fast and Loose” after he and Smith disagree with the tone the story should take.
Metro contacted Will Smith's representative for comment.
