Fact check
The DFRAC team searched for viral videos on the internet and established that it was a fake. Keyframes in the video were searched using Google images, and no videos were shared by trusted media houses. I also ran a search on Google to see if the crash drop on an Emirates plane had recently landed, but found nothing. The official UAE aviation authorities also did not make such an announcement.
After closely monitoring the video, I noticed some extraordinary things. Emirates spelled in the viral video is incorrect. The tail design also does not match the designs that appear in the images listed on the official Emirates website. Finally, the video keyframes were searched on the AI detection website “Wasit AI” to confirm that the video was generated by AI.
Conclusion
Therefore, it can be concluded that the video is fake. This is because there is no official information about the Emirates plane crash landing lately. The AI Detector website cites the video as generating AI.
