ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan's Supreme Court Justice Yahya Afridi has announced that the judiciary is considering integrating artificial intelligence (AI) to improve the legal system.
Speaking at the ceremony, Supreme Court Justice Afridi stressed the importance of national judicial policy and shared that efforts are underway to reform the judicial system across the country.
He noted that the judicial officers are professionally trained at the Judicial Academy.
The top judges revealed ongoing work on the establishment of a Model Criminal Trial Court, which aims to ensure timely case resolution. “Top legal experts listen to cases every day. We are looking for ideas for the operating court in two shifts,” he added.

CJP Afridi also highlighted the need to promote young lawyers who have been released from political or professional affiliations, saying long-term cases will be addressed through model courts.
“As the Supreme Court Justice, I stand as an independent, fair and sincere judicial officer,” he asserted. “My vision is to approach the court with complete confidence that all affected citizens will receive justice.”
