Maddow Blog | Trump escalates a crazy anti-Obama campaign, saying he's “guilt” in his rebellion plan

Donald Trump's strange preconceptions with Joe Biden are well documented. An analysis conducted by The New York Times, for example, found that in the first 50 days of the Republican president's second term, he mentioned “Biden” an average of 6.32 times a day. “It's one of his most frequently used terms (for example, he said “Biden” in more speeches than he said “America”).

According to NBC News, his 100-day mark has led Trump to speak at least 580 times about Biden, his family, or his administration, either on public remarks or on social media platforms.

But as Republicans approach his 200-day mark, he is beginning to focus much less on his immediate Democratic predecessor, and much more. other Democrat predecessor.

At an event Tuesday morning in the oval office, the incumbent Republican Party explicitly supported the Justice Department targeting Barack Obama, suggesting that the former Democrat is “guilty” as part of a plan that Trump considers “treason.”

At a moment, the current president, clearly indifferent to reality, added that “now is the time to chase after people,” Obama was “captured directly.” Trump continued to describe the former Democratic president as “the mastermind.”

In the same event, Republicans said his administration found “proof” that Obama was “inflammatory” and “trying to lead the coup.”

Trump has worked to this point for a while, and all of this was mad and angry – there was no such “proof.” For example, ten days ago he announced a strange missile that Obama said he was at least partially responsible for “creating” the Jeffrey Epstein Files.

This week, Republicans also declared that “Obama himself produced the Russian, Russian and Russian hoax.”

Between two absurdities, Trump also amplified a fake video that appears to have been made with AI depicting Obama being arrested in an oval office. The New York Times reported:

The fake video insists that FBI agents explode into the meeting, pushing Obama into his knees, handcuffing Trump to make him look smile, and handcuffing him as if he were playing the song “YMCA” by villagers. The fake video then shows Obama at the pace of Cell's orange jumpsuit. The video begins with an actual compilation of footage of Democratic leaders, including Obama and former president Joseph R. Biden Jr.

This coincided with Trump, promoting a fake mug shot of Obama and his team wearing prison jumpsuits.

If this sounds completely familiar, it's because during Trump's 2024 candidacy, while obsessed with Obama, then-Graduate candidates will use social media platforms to promote photos of the former Democratic president along with texts calling for a “public military court.”

It is worth highlighting that there is literally zero evidence that Obama did something wrong in connection with Trump's Epstein and the Russian scandal, and that there is a proposal that even the 2025 standard is insane due to Trump's controversy.

Plus, it's very easy to believe that an incumbent Republican president is distracting him and pitching this garbage in the hopes of changing his responsibility on his own.

But if so, why not ignore Trump's obvious absurdity? For the Unfortunate Truth: Just because his anti-Obama Crusades are distracting doesn't mean nothing will happen. On the contrary, it's very easy to believe that Trump, who has already directed the Justice Department to investigate Biden, is heading towards the same steps as Obama.
