Today, Adobe is taking Adobe Firefly a step further with powerful new tools, expanding access to AI video generator partner AI models. The company says the update will “have more control, accuracy and flexibility, creating and editing content that stands out.”
The first major feature is the ability to generate sound effects. Currently, in beta, this function allows authors to create custom sound effects using text prompts or audio. Adobe explains what is included:
- Impact Sound: Add impact sounds and layer ambient tracks to the final video output to capture tones, natural sounds and dramatic weight.
- Atmospheric truck: Layer ambient tracks to establish a location context for your video generation or upload your own video.
Adobe Direfly also integrates image and video models from Moonvalley's Marey, Google's VEO 3, Pika's 2.2, Luma AI's Ray2, Moonvalley's Marey with image and video upscaling tools from Topaz Labs, and Google's VEO 3. These will participate in existing models such as Google, Openai, Luma AI, Ideogram, Pika, and Black Forest Labs.
With the flexibility to select models, Adobe says its products have not yet trained the AI models generated using user data. Additionally, customers can access all modes using a single Adobe sign-in and plan, so they do not need to manage individual accounts or subscriptions.
Creating Adobe Firefly videos brings you more creative control in three important ways:
- Configuration Reference: Use still images or visual samples to guide framing and layout.
- Trim keyframes: Refine the composition frame by frame when creating content in the form of social media or movies.
- Style Preset: Use this new option to apply consistent visual styles to multiple outputs.
Adobe Firefly starts at $9.99 per month, but depending on how you use it, you may need to plan more expensively.
