Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) Under the guidance of Minister Amr Tarath, Egypt's National Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy 2nd Edition (2025–2030). This strategy illustrates pivotal advances in Egypt's digital transformation ambitions and sets the country up to be a strategic AI hub for Africa, the Arab world and international technological ecosystems.
Comprehensive National AI Roadmap
The updated strategy outlines a multidimensional framework built around six strategic pillars. Governance, Technology, Data, Infrastructure, Ecosystem, and Talent. These fundamental elements are designed to ensure the ethical and impactful deployment of AI across key sectors, including healthcare, education, agriculture and public services.

In parallel, the government promises to develop clear regulatory standards and robust data governance frameworks, ensuring that AI adoption is safe and comprehensive.
Strategic Global Partnerships and Investments
The launch coincides with a wave of public-private collaboration that bolsters Egypt's upward profile in the global AI economy.
Capgemini French multinational technology companies, AI Center of Excellence in Cairoaims to scale generation and agent AI solutions for the global market. The company intends to double the Egyptian workforce. 1,200 employees by the end of 2025a move that is expected to increase Egypt's ability to export advanced digital services.
meanwhile, Microsoft Formalizing national partnership with the government, Train and accredit 100,000 individuals– Includes youth and civil servants – Artificial intelligence technology. The program is already underway and supports a broader national goal for talent development and digital capacity building.
