Gizmod: So… how do you use AI?
Andy Cohen: I use AI to answer very random questions and show you how to use things like imovie that have no clues to operate.
Gizmod: What kind of randomness?
Andy Cohen: At this point, things from my son are very specific, such as “What is the most dangerous animal?”, “How fast does a cheetah run?” or discussing at the dinner table.
Gizmod: What was the last thing that helped you?
Andy Cohen:Speaks me how to edit a movie using Imovie. I would never have understood that myself.
Gizmod: Did it actually make your life easier?
Andy Cohen: I'm totally torn. It's an incredible tool. But it's going to make idiots from future generations. It will inspire laziness and stupidity.
Gizmod:Do you trust it?
Andy Cohen: i will do it. But it is still trying to ruin society.
Gizmod: Do you recommend it?
Andy Cohen: Yes, but not personal.
Gizmod:Where do you draw it?
Andy Cohen: If you don't mind what sounds generic, use it. If that's something you need to feel personally, I don't.
Gizmod:What should you not be able to touch AI?
Andy Cohen: Comment at the funeral. Wedding speech.
Gizmod: Have you changed the way you prepare for the show?
Andy Cohen: no.
Gizmod: Have you ever messed up how someone else used it?
Andy Cohen: no.
Gizmod: Your son sounds like an AI prompt machine. Does he know you're using it?
Andy Cohen: I'm trying to keep him away from AI as much as I can. He doesn't know where I'll get the answer.
Gizmod: You think it's going to ruin society. What is the real danger: technology, or how do we use it?
Andy Cohen: Children use it to write and think for themselves.
