Doha, Qatar: Msheireb Museums and Sidra Medicine has announced the third session of the 2025 Science Café series at Bin Jelmood House. The title “AI Promise in Precision Medicine: Qatar's Healthcare Revolution” brought together key experts to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming Qatar's healthcare delivery.

Science Café Session explored cutting-edge developments in AI-assisted medicine, including machine learning applications in diagnostics, personalized treatment protocols, and ethical considerations for implementing AI in healthcare settings. The discussion highlighted Qatar's pioneering efforts in integrating AI technology with genomic medicine and digital health solutions.

Professor Khalid Fakhro, Chief Research Officer at Sidra Medicine, said: “Qatar's investment in AI-driven precision medicine, through its ongoing efforts with disease cohorts and collaborative research networks, positions the country as an early adoption of global healthcare innovation. This science cafe session shows that these technologies are already improving patient care and will continue to change precision medicine in the coming years.”

The session featured a panel session with the speaker and Dr Munela Alkahatani, Senior Research Associate at the Qatar Institute of Environment and Energy. Dr. Mitch Stotland, Vice-Chair of Surgery and founder of Sidra Medicine's AI and Medical Conference Series. Dr. Madiha Kamal, director of adolescent medicine at Sidra Medicine.
