Shanghai, June 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -Finvolution Group has officially launched today's 2025 Finvolution Global Data Science Competition.
Currently, the 10th edition calls on AI researchers, engineers and data scientists around the world to develop innovative models that can manipulate and respond to visual content. As deepfakes become more and more realistic, the possibility of undermining trust in the digital and financial systems has never been greater.
This year's contest is integrated with the Honorary Conference on Information and Knowledge Management (CIKM) and the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI), which deepens its involvement with Finvolution's global AI research community.

Competition timeline
2025 Challenge offers prize pools Renminbi 308,000 (about 42,900 US$) And it will be expanded in three stages.
- Spare round (June 24th – July 31st): Participants must submit real-time scoring prediction results before the end July 23rd. The list of teams that will advance to the semi-finals is July 31st.
- Semi-finals (August 1st – August 30th): Semi-finals must submit solutions by the end of the August 10th. Finalists will be announced August 29th.
- Final Round (September 1st – Mid-September): Finalists will take part in the final challenge and participate in a series of global engagement events.

Over the past decade, the Finvolution Global Data Science Competition has attracted nearly 10,000 participants to explore frontier topics such as credit scoring, fraud prevention, behavioral analysis, and generated media forensics.
