Noah Weiland covers “Slither” by his late father Scott Weiland's Band Velvet Revolver, featuring an AI version of Slash and a trippy video that Duff McKagan makes for each other.
Earlier this year, Noah featured “sex-type ones” from Scott's Bandstone Temple Pilot, accompanied by a video inspired by “a dream dream long ago about seeing my father again.”
On Father's Day (June 15th), Noah released a cover of “Slither” in a video with wild effects. At certain points, Scott sees Noah as an AI-generated image of a small child, a Spider-Man fight, and perhaps oddly, a member of the Velvet Revolver, locking his lips to each other in a sea of money.

“This video should be like a fanatic dream,” Weyland said. Rolling Stone. “I'm going to run away from my devil. Next I'm hooked on a girl who's obsessed with trying to save her. I'll also visit from my father in my dreams.
Noah first appeared as a singer for the short-lived band suspect, featuring Slash's son and Metallica's Robert Trujillo. Over the past few years, he has released many original solo singles, and he is working on a new solo EP entitled Crush out junkie.
“I don't want an entire identity based on my father's work,” Noah said. “I want to make music in my own terms that are true to myself, and fans will love it. I've recently returned to my rock/grunge/punk roots for solo music. Crush out junkie.”
Noah was asked to see the front of the reunited velvet revolver, just as how the sublime was set on the front line by Jacob, the son of the late singer Bradley Nowell.
“Slither” appeared in Velvet Revolver's debut album in the 2004s Smuggling productshas broken through both mainstream rocks and alternative airplay charts.
