The Meta AI App, the company's artificial intelligence (AI) platform with a social experience, fired last week after several users and reports highlighted that the feeds discovered showed a large number of seemingly personal conversations. The social media giant appears to be taking steps to fix this and make it more aware of the consequences of users pressing the “share” button. When you share a post on your social feed, you will receive a warning message and notify the user that the content will be visible to everyone.
The Meta AI app, first reported by Business Insider, displayed a warning message every time a user tried to publicly share a conversation. The staff of 360 gadgets were also able to find a warning message when they tried the same thing. This may be one of the GuardRails companies implement to stop instances that post personal information without users knowing.

A warning message appears after the user taps the “Share” button in the top right corner. You will receive the message “The post prompt will be published and will be visible to everyone.” Additionally, this message also instructs users to avoid sharing personal and confidential information.
The Manage Settings hyperlink is also displayed next to the message. The user will be taken to a settings page where the user can choose whether or not they can suggest prompts on Facebook or Instagram. Once the user has seen this message, they need to tap once in the center of the screen to activate the “Feed Post” button. They can then share the posts in their discovery feed.
In particular, some of the staff of 360 gadgets emphasized seeing this message when they first tried to share their posts, but they clearly didn't show up after that. I've found this message to appear more frequently.
The Business Insider report also claimed to see more image-based posts and fewer text posts. This is also part of Meta's efforts to curb posting of a personal nature. However, this claim could not be verified.
Additionally, there are unique privacy concerns for Meta AI apps, especially posting images that contain AI editing of real images. As reported last week, these posts also contain original, unedited images that anyone can copy or save.
