4by4 announced on June 29th that it has launched the desktop version of “AI PIXELL”. This version is an installable AI video enhancement solution that runs directly on your local PC, with no pay-as-you-go charges. It was developed with the aim of improving the ease of use of AI video processing technology, which had previously been focused on corporations, and expanding the user base to include professional creators and individual producers.
Optimized for NVIDIA’s RTX graphics processing unit (GPU) environment, it supports high-quality video processing on the local system through AI inference technology based on CUDA and TensorRT. Users can improve video quality and remove noise on their PC without uploading or downloading large files.
4by4 is initially releasing a Windows version, and plans to release a macOS version later this year. With this, the company aims to expand the use of AI PIXELL across all Windows and macOS-based production environments.
