But Bard stumbled on its debut, and Google still lags behind despite its best efforts to catch up with the AI efforts of other tech companies such as Microsoft (MSFT). For example, this feature, in which a chatbot “talks” to a user, was released by Microsoft-backed OpenAI to his Apple’s iOS users through his app in May.

The tech giant has also announced that it will be integrating Google Lens functionality into Bard, allowing users to upload photos with prompts, and Bard will provide analytics. Users can take advantage of this feature to find more information about images and create captions for images.
The bard’s technical ability also improved. Chatbots can export Python code to Replit in addition to Google Colab and are available in 40 languages. Users can also pin or rename conversations to find chats faster and be more productive.
These latest updates come as the AI race heats up as the leading AI chatbot providers want to add features to win over their customers.
Earlier this week, Alibaba (BABA) Cloud released a text-to-image generator for its customers. On Wednesday, Elon Musk also launched his own AI company, xAI, with former Google and Microsoft employees.
