New Delhi: As the Indian government takes note of the barrage of international spam calls facing WhatsApp users in the country, the Meta-owned instant messaging platform said Thursday it has deployed an artificial intelligence and machine learning-based system to help quell such incidents. Alongside an event hosted by the Public Information Forum of India (PAFI) on Wednesday, Electronics and IT Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar said the government is paying attention to the issue and will soon send a notification to WhatsApp. .
