VIVO Defense Services has partnered with upskilling platform Multiverse to provide data and AI apprenticeships to its workforce.
The facility management company aims to future-proof its workforce and advance its workforce’s skills in data analytics, AI, and predictive modeling to meet the growing and changing needs of the Ministry of Defense (MOD).
As one of the largest providers of real estate services to the Ministry of Defense, the data that VIVO collects is of critical importance to the Ministry. This partnership with Multiverse will enable VIVO staff to fully explore and leverage the insights this data provides.
Training programs include “Data and Insights for Business Decision Making” and “AI for Business Value,” which aim to develop the technical skills needed to leverage data and AI. This enables apprentices to make more informed work decisions.
This will inevitably play a role in ensuring that VIVO provides the best possible service to defense infrastructure organizations and has the resources to carry out its critical work for many years to come.
Paul Roberts, Energy & Sustainability Director and Innovation Champion at VIVO, said: “The data we collect across our organization is a strategic asset that provides real-time insight into the work we do. Further enhancing how we use this data and AI to influence operational business decisions will benefit our customer, the UK Armed Forces.”
“This is all about our mission to improve the life experience of military personnel and play our part in strengthening the UK’s defence.”
Gary Aimerman, Chief Learning Officer at Multiverse, added: “VIVO Defense Services is demonstrating a clear commitment to our people and our mission by investing in these critical skills.
“By training their teams with data and AI, the company is not only future-proofing their workforce, but directly enhancing their ability to serve the UK Armed Forces and have a real-world impact. We are extremely proud to partner with them on this initiative.”
