Total War Warhammer 3 continues to impress as one of the most ambitious strategy games on PC, and its latest update adds a long-awaited addition to the Immortal Empires campaign mode. The update also introduces a way to directly affect enemy AI difficulty during combat and adds new landmark buildings.
The Immortal Empires achievement has finally arrived, combining content from Total War Warhammer 1, 2 and the recently added Chaos Dwarfs into one massive campaign. These achievements give players a way to track their progress. He has two achievements added to each playable race. One for completing the campaign on any difficulty setting and one for conquering the campaign on Legendary. To unlock these achievements, players must meet the race’s long-term victory conditions.
For newcomers to Immortal Empires mode, Creative Assembly has addressed the lack of guidance in the first turn. The update includes a tutorial mission that guides players through attacking enemy forces and capturing settlements at the start of each campaign, teaching them the basics. The team plans to customize these tutorials for each faction over time, incorporating narrative and faction-specific tutorials where appropriate.
Additionally, a new slider has been added to the Combat Difficulty settings, allowing players to control the bonuses the AI receives for certain stats. This gives him greater customization and control over his AI opponents in both campaigns and custom combat.
Creative Assembly has also tweaked several new landmark buildings on the campaign map, including Pillars of Bones, Agramon’s Menagerie, Bloody Hand Monolith, Scroll Palace, Great Dragon Fleet Port, and Hall of Rebirth. These additions enhance the visual and strategic aspects of the game.
It’s worth mentioning that players can now access the full Immortal Empires map without needing the previous two games, even if they only own Total War Warhammer 3. With Total War Warhammer 3 available through PC Game Pass, subscribers can experience this ambitious project at no additional cost.
Whether you’re new to Total War Warhammer 3 or looking to enhance your gameplay, exploring the races and DLC options will provide endless entertainment.
