Suse teams up with Avesha to streamline AI deployments with optimized GPU-based infrastructure

Applications of AI

Cloud computing orchestration startup Avesha Inc. is partnering with Linux software giant Suse Sus with an enterprise-grade artificial intelligence infrastructure blueprint designed to simplify and optimize deployment of AI workloads.

Announced today, AI Infrastructure Blueprint combines Suse's specialized AI development software with Avesha's elastic graphics processing unit to dynamically allocate GPU resources to AI workloads, making it both performance and cost optimization.

Using blueprints, enterprises can deploy, manage and monitor AI workloads on production-grade stacks, paving the way for “self-service AI” for teams that need it.

Avesha has created technology platforms that businesses use to optimize traditional application workloads across cloud environments, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Supports multi-cloud and edge locations, and use AI to efficiently manage and scale cloud applications, ensuring the best performance without bloated costs.

Users can oversee applications through Avesha's Smart Network application platform. This creates a virtual overlay of the infrastructure for each application, providing virtual machines and other services that provide details to the network and enhance it. With Elastic GPU services, users have the option to quickly access and dynamically allocate GPUs via the NO code interface to enhance their AI workloads.

Meanwhile, Germany-based Suse is the creator of the popular Suse Linux operating system and is considered one of the most flexible and reliable platforms of this kind used by businesses to operate cloud instances, industrial equipment, applications and a variety of other systems. Suse also develops other products, including the Rancher platform for managing software containers that host the components of modern applications, and the Neuvector Cybersecurity service.

Avesha + Suse AI Blueprint is available to all customers today and covers industries including healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, government and telecommunications, where robust governance for GPU-based AI workloads is critical. Customers can use the Suse AI platform to design and build AI applications by integrating frameworks such as Ollama, MLFlow, and Pytorch. It is based on Rancher Prime, which supports GPU-Aware Kubernetes management and boasts a tool for observability and compliance, the company said.

A blueprint like this could be useful for businesses. This is useful for businesses as it provides a structured framework that simplifies the process of connecting AI infrastructures that are reliable, scalable, and optimized for performance and cost-effectiveness. This allows teams to focus more on building and deploying AI projects without worrying about overhead. They are popular with infrastructure providers, with other examples being Nvidia Corp.'s and Nutanix Inc.'s blueprints for advanced AI agents, and AWS' three-tiered Gen AI Stack.

Avesha CEO Raj Nair said Blueprint will simplify GPU orchestration. This is one of the most complicated aspects of AI infrastructure. This means that businesses can eliminate unutilized GPU resources to save money. Other benefits include project and team level isolation and runtime protection for zero trust containers.

“We are pleased to announce that Abhinav Puri, Vice President and General Manager of Portfolio Solutions, Suse, said: “The collaboration with Avesha brings security, scalability and simplicity, making enterprise-grade AI infrastructure accessible to any team.”
