Are you concerned about some of the AI valuations on the market? Palantir was sold and had a strong quarter. But look what you’re doing. Well, you guys are quick to point it out in your annual report. So it’s not profitable yet, and in fact it may not be profitable for a few more years. That means your stock is up more than 150% year-to-date. I mean, as the CEO of a company like this, is there anything to worry about?

Well, essentially, avoid looking at stock prices when making important decisions. We strive to stay focused on technology and roadmaps and how to go beyond quantum advantage. Well, it’s obvious that any human being would be tempted to look at a stock ticker and move it up or down. But I try not to overreact to either movement or movement in either direction, and to keep a level-headed approach to what exactly the company needs to do. In our case, and in the case of quantum computing in general, the goal is clearly to improve the technology, capture its quantum advantages, and reach a final milestone called fault-tolerant quantum computing. Quantum benefits are thought to take three to five years, while fault-tolerant quantum computing will likely take seven to nine years. So we try to stay focused on the long term. Well, I hope the stock price continues to do well. Well, we try to make it as clear as possible to our investors that our sales numbers don’t really matter. At the moment, it’s still all about technological development. But it’s true, people will react, and you inherently want to focus on the stock price when you’re a publicly traded company, but we try not to react to that.

Subot, quickly, do you have any big predictions for 2026 regarding AI that might surprise people?

02:04 Subot

I think there’s already research being published that suggests quantum computing and AI are a more elegant, faster, and better way to achieve AGI. And at the moment, it is still not understood by most investors. But if I could predict one big thing in 2026, it would be that quantum computing and AI will really start to take off in the hybrid systems we’re developing with partners like Nvidia. So I think it’s going to be interesting to see what quantum computing and AI are and how we can get to AGI that way.
