————–
The Indonesian government is promoting the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies among micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) to strengthen supply chains within industrial ecosystems, Xinhua reported.
Loto Srinaita Ginting, a specialist staff member in finance and MSME development at the Ministry of State Enterprise, was highlighted at the Surabaya event, which will allow AI to quickly analyze market demand. AI facilitates data integration between buyers and sellers, increasing business accuracy and response to market changes. Additionally, it supports efficient raw material inventory estimation and adaptive production management.
Ginting highlighted the role of AI in helping MSMEs expand domestically and integrate into global industrial chains. Indonesia's Ministry of Communications and Digital Affairs are driving digital transformation by leveraging AI, big data and cloud computing to optimize performance.
Deputy Minister Nezar Patria previously said that AI will combine with big data and cloud technology to enhance strategic planning for state-owned companies, risk mitigation, service security, and financial optimization for state-owned companies, and strengthen the country's digital advancement efforts.
