IIT Madras begins a course in machine learning operations

Madras Prabaltak of Indian Institute of Technology has launched a machine learning operation course.

The online 110-hour certified MLOPS course, offered in collaboration with TCS Aeon, aims to prepare experts for AI, ML careers and address the demand for talent in the evolving realm of machine learning operations.

MLOPS Scalable ML Operations – Associates are expected to fill the skill gap, allowing graduates to aim for career opportunities in Data Science GEN AI and LLM besides AI and ML. “To teach industry-related skills”

According to Venguswamy Ramaswamy, global head of TCS Ion, the experiential learning program, featuring classes from Professor IIT-M Pravartak and industry experts, will provide learners with industry-related skills and knowledge about real-world application scenarios.

TCS Ion, a business unit within TATA Consultancy Services, focuses on providing technology-driven solutions for learning, assessment and business processes. It covers a variety of segments, including educational institutions, manufacturing, and exam committees.

IIT-M Pravartak Technologies is a Section 8 company that houses technology innovation hubs in sensors, networking, actuators and control systems. Funded by the Science and Technology Agency under a national mission on interdisciplinary cyberphysical systems and hosted by IIT-Madras.

This course provides career paths for job profiles, including data engineers and MLOPS engineers. MLOPS Platform Engineer and ML Automation Engineer.
