AI has been around for a while. But what has really changed since ChatGpt was announced in November 2022?
Certainly, AI is excellent at creating responses. But it's still a language model. You tell it, and it returns the things to you.
Apart from writing, coding, creating visuals, AI can't do much… yet.
Well, that's not true. If you own a Tesla in the US, it can drive for you, it's actually huge. I've seen FSD (Full Self-Driving) footage and it's impressive.
That's where AI is moving forward. Before you and I know that, AI actually does something meaningful.
I've just started. I strongly believe in the coming years that AI will jump into a new way of life that seemed impossible a few years ago.
AI is trying to make our lives simpler. And it will change the world.
Everyone knows this online. However, in the real world, people are not yet using AI, as most people are not familiar with their use cases.
However, if you want to flourish in the world of tomorrow, you must start using AI more seriously.
In this article, we will share with you what you need to know about how to make AI work for you.
Let me share two things before you begin.
“What AI do I need to use?”
The main AI models are confounding, Claude, Gemini, or co-pilot.
But I like to keep things simple.
For me, ChatGpt does work. It's the first, the largest, and still the most intuitive to use.
That doesn't mean that other people aren't good at something specific. In fact, many coders prefer Claude. And that's fine. Many AI models are specialized.
However, ChatGpt is the perfect everyday driver. It's all good at it.
Voice prompt words
I'm more focused on speech interaction than typing these days.
why?
I think the future of AI is to provide clear instructions loudly. This is like training yourself to be a CEO who issues orders with confidence.
Most of us are not used to “ordering” people around us, let alone machines, so that's a skill we have to develop.
Below are the main ways I create AI for me.
1. Brainstorming and sound boards
Whether you're a writer, entrepreneur, or investor, when you're working solo, it's easy to get trapped in your own head.
You start to rethink your ideas and either doubt whether something is worth pursuing or feel stuck on where to go next. That's where AI comes into play.
I treat ChatGpt as an extension of my mind. When I'm stuck on an idea or need a fresh perspective, I don't just stare at a blank screen. I'll tell you that. literally.
I started using voice prompts more often because it felt natural and forced me to be clear and clear about my thoughts. The process is simple. You can throw away abstract ideas and help ChatGpt shape them into practical things.
For example, I recently brainstormed ideas for a new article. I started with a vague idea – “What do people struggle with when it comes to productivity?” – and within a few minutes I had a list of potential angles to explore.
Ultimately, it's up to me to rule out ideas that actually come in handy. Therefore, you are the person who gives the final call on what you should use.
How to use this:
- Use AI to generate ideas for your content, products, or solutions.
- Don't wait for the “perfect” idea to hit.
- To test your assumptions and discover blind spots, treat it as a sounding board.
2. Research and Fact Check
I lost counts of how many times I fell through a rabbit hole during my research. It's very easy to be distracted or overwhelmed by the vast amount of information there. AI helps me cut off the noise.
Use it as your first step if you need to validate statistics, get a summary of complex topics, or find important trends. It's not a substitute for deep research, but if you need quick and high-level insights, it's a huge time saving.
For example, I recently wanted to understand how Nvidia's new Blackwell technology could work and impact revenue. I love digging deeper into companies and technology as an investor.
Instead of reading multiple articles, I asked ChatGpt to summarise the main drivers. After that I still did due diligence, but it gave me a solid starting point.
And when it comes to research, I generally ask other AI models, such as Perplexity and Gemini. Because I want to make sure I don't miss something about ChatGpt.
How to use this:
- Seek out the overview, brief explanation, or the pros/cons of a decision.
- Use it to get a broad overview before diving deeper.
- Always check out important information from trustworthy sources.
3. Content generation
Writing can be mentally exhausting. It's not just about typing words. It's about structuring, maintaining clarity and finding the right flow of ideas.
ChatGpt has become my go-to tool to break through that mental block.
Whether you're drafting articles, tweaking landing pages, or summarizing chapters in a new book, AI speeds up the process.
But here's the catch. It's not a magic button. You can't say, “Please write a blog post about starting your business.” Because I know that one million other people asked the same thing that day.
The key is to guide it based on your thoughts, experiences and insights.
Content generation uses AI in several ways. Sometimes I like to use it to generate headline ideas, or to generate summary article ideas.
I also use ChatGpt when I'm looking for quotes, analogies, or examples to use in my articles. From there, I refine and add my voice.
How to use this:
- Seek out the outline, headlines and intro to get you started faster.
- Use it to find quotes, stories, examples, etc.
- Improve the output and sound like you.
4. Investment Analysis
As an active investor, I am always looking for ways to strengthen my papers and challenge my assumptions.
AI has become an unexpected ally here. Enter or speak questions such as, “What is Tesla's biggest growth opportunity?” Or, “What risks should we consider at nvidia?”
That's not about getting a definitive answer. AI can't predict the future. Instead, it's about framing my thoughts and identifying areas I might have missed. It is also a way to oppress my thoughts. If AI surfaces something I didn't consider, I take it seriously.
Recently, we used ChatGpt to compare Tesla's revenue growth rates across different segments. It helped me to see where the biggest drivers are – something I've never thought of before.
How to use this:
- Ask AI to compare companies or highlight trends.
- Use it to challenge your investment ideas.
- Treat it as a tool to sharpen your critical thinking.
5. Personal financial management
I'm not a fan of budget apps. I like to keep things simple. Rather than tracking every cent, focus on the big picture. ChatGpt helps me do just that.
For example, “If your net worth is 450,000 euros and you're pulling 10,000 euros a month, what is the runway for financial freedom?”
This is a flexible way to gain high levels of insight. I'm not looking for an accurate spreadsheet. It makes clear whether I'm on track and what adjustments I need to make.
How to use this:
- Use AI to make rapid financial forecasts.
- Looking for strategies to optimize your finances while still being confused.
- It is treated as a financial check-in, not as a replacement for an accountant.
Why AI is more important than ever
Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia and one of the most important figures in AI, said:
“It can be replaced by AI or someone who uses AI.”
It's bold, but it's true. AI is more than just a cool tool. It's transforming every industry. The question is whether you adapt or are you left behind?
ai is not here to replace us. It's here to amplify us. Plus, the sooner you learn to “speak,” the more you are ready for the next wave of innovation.
Get started now. Please play. Be comfortable. Those who master this will have great benefits over the next few years.
Final thoughts
AI is no longer just about Q&A machines. It has evolved into a real tool for brainstorming, strategy and execution of tasks.
The more you use it, the more you realize it's not just a gimmick, it's a real productivity booster.
So here is my advice: start using it like a partner.
Don't wait for the perfect prompt or use case. Experiment, make mistakes, improve your approach. AI only improves, and those who can use it effectively will be ahead of the rest.
