Google’s Flow AI video maker now available for business and education

Google is expanding the reach of its AI-powered video creation tool Flow to reach a wider audience. The product, which debuted in May, was initially limited to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers. Now available to users on Business, Enterprise, and Education Workspace plans.

The move signals Google’s increasing efforts to bring video generation tools into its day-to-day software. Access within Workspace makes Flow more practical as more companies test AI for marketing, training, and content creation.

At its core, Flow runs on Google’s Veo 3.1 video generation model. The system creates 8-second video clips using simple text prompts or images. Users can combine these clips to build longer scenes.

Additionally, Flow includes tools that allow creators to fine-tune their output. You can change the lighting, adjust the camera angle, and add or remove objects in the scene. Earlier this week, Google also introduced support for vertical video, making the tool even more useful on mobile-first platforms.

Audio functionality has also been expanded. Late last year, Google added sound generation to more parts of Flow. You can now create audio when using reference images, requesting scene transitions, or extending existing clips.

The company also connected its AI imaging tool Nano Banana Pro directly to Flow. This integration allows users to design characters and visual starting points before converting to video.

With wider availability and steady feature updates, Flow is becoming a more complete option for teams wanting fast, AI-driven video production within Google’s ecosystem.
