Drone Fleet Operator Flyguys Corp. said he wanted to reform himself as a more “reality data” provider after closing $13 million in today's Series A-1 funding.
The round was led by Wonder Fund North Dakota under the direction of Ally Venture, led by renowned Canadian investor Kevin O'Leary.
Flyguys has been around for several years, and originally established itself as a drone service operator, providing access to a fleet of flying machines run by professional drone pilots. It specializes in “aerial data collection,” providing bird's-eye views of any area of interest to companies, and is equipped with advanced technologies such as high-quality images and Lidar.
The company's drones are one of the most refined money to buy, allowing you to capture different types of data through standard high-resolution images, videos, and even thermal images. The drone is also equipped with LIDAR. This includes measuring distance with a laser to create accurate 3D maps and visualizations for use by surveyors and engineers.
