Hyderabad: Billionaire Elon Musk on Monday shared a video of an AI fashion show featuring world leaders, including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He posted the video to “X” and captioned it, “Perfect timing for an AI fashion show.”
An AI avatar of 87-year-old Pope Francis opened the fashion show wearing a white down jacket, while an avatar of Russian President Vladimir Putin wore a red off-the-shoulder Louis Vuitton outfit.
An AI model of US President Joe Biden was also seen wearing a Louis Vuitton suit, but the president himself was in a wheelchair. Musk himself appeared in the video, with his avatar wearing a futuristic suit with the “Tesla” symbol on it. Other notables in the video include former US President Donald Trump, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Hillary Clinton, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, King Charles, Meta's Mark Zuckerberg, former US President Barack Obama, Indian Prime Minister Modi, US Vice President Kamala Harris, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates.
PM Modi's avatar was seen donning a vibrant full kurta-like outfit.
The video quickly caught the attention of internet users and quickly racked up 65.7 million views (as of last check).
In the one minute 23 second video, Barack Obama's avatar, dressed in a variety of costumes including a basketball player and a warrior, got the most screen time, while avatars of Trudeau, Trump, Kamala Harris, Musk and Modi also garnered significant attention.
The video also pokes fun at Microsoft's recent system outages. At the end of the video, an avatar of Microsoft founder Bill Gates is shown in a suit holding a sign with the words “Runway of power” written on it, before quickly cutting to a blue screen.
