As part of its Business AI strategy, SAP is providing access to AI models through the Generate AI Hub in SAP AI Core on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). By integrating advanced AI capabilities into an organization's business context, customers benefit from relevant, reliable, and responsible solutions.
Guided by its AI ethics framework, SAP works with partners to generate insights from industry-specific data and deep process knowledge to deliver exponential value to businesses. By fostering a multi-partner approach, SAP ensures flexibility, prevents vendor lock-in, and empowers customers and partners to effectively navigate the AI landscape.
As a next step in this effort, SAP will integrate Meta Llama 2 and Meta Llama 3 models into its Generative AI Hub, enabling customers to create dashboards based on rich content using Llama’s qualitative conversational output and explore use cases built with Meta Llama 3.
The SAP Business AI white paper provides an overview of SAP's Business AI strategy and highlights the unique opportunities for the SAP ecosystem to build a range of solutions with generative AI capabilities and extended capabilities on top of SAP BTP.

The addition of Meta Llama 3 to the Generative AI Hub will enable developers in the SAP ecosystem to take advantage of value-add capabilities. The 70B variant of Meta Llama 3 will be the largest open source model available in the Generative AI Hub.
SAP SuccessFactors Text to Image Generation Requirements
SAP customers are looking for ways to increase the visual appeal and relevance of images within the SAP SuccessFactors HCM suite. The current image curation and upload process is time-consuming and costly, often resulting in generic images that only partially address specific scenarios, as well as costs associated with licensing stock images.
Integrating the latest version of Meta's open source large language model (LLM) offers a number of benefits. The creative capabilities of models such as Llama 3 come in handy in such scenarios, allowing users to generate custom images for their needs within SAP SuccessFactors software. The impact is far-reaching: customizable course content thumbnails and banners for learning, images tailored to challenges in the SAP SuccessFactors Opportunity Marketplace, unique images for different themes on the home page, personalized profile and banner images for personal profiles, and more.
This capability will undoubtedly improve user engagement and the overall platform experience by streamlining the image creation process, reducing costs, and ensuring that every image fits its context. SAP customers should get ready to explore a new world of custom images tailored to their exact specifications that will spark excitement and intrigue among their stakeholders.
