Organized by Runway AI, one of the leading startups in the field of AI-powered video generation, the festival featured nearly 3,000 short films. His ten selected films demonstrate the filmmaker's vivid imagination and tell stories set in aesthetically beautiful worlds.

With just a prompt, Runway can turn a series of still images into a short video or a photo into a painting.

Runway is currently developing what it calls “General World Models.” It is an AI system that can simulate real-world environments by predicting how future events will unfold in a dynamic setting.
Runway's three co-founders are focused on creating a “common language” for programming and creativity, citing Apple and Pixar as examples.
“For some emerging filmmakers like me, this is a real chance to change the typical model of the Hollywood industry,” said director Carlo De Toni, who also won an award at the festival.
