Meta on Wednesday announced the launch of enhanced generative AI capabilities for advertisers, including perfect image and text generation to help grow your business. The goal is to help advertisers every step of the way, whether it's helping develop creative variations to improve ad performance or automating certain parts of the ad creation process.
For the first time, companies can create complete image variations inspired by the original ad creative using the text overlay feature, and built on the ability to generate new backgrounds around product images, according to Meta. Now you can expand your images to fit multiple surfaces.
How does it work?
For example, a coffee bean business that promotes great-tasting coffee can use Meta's generative AI to create backgrounds for other variations, such as settings that embody a lush, idyllic farm, or to adjust the coffee cup. You can also provide more creative expression. option. This feature has already started rolling out, and in the coming months, businesses will be able to provide text prompts to better adjust creative variations.
Additionally, businesses will be able to apply text overlays to images, and brands will be able to choose from 12 of the most popular font typeface options.
Finally, Image Enhancements, a feature that allows businesses to seamlessly adjust creative assets to different aspect ratios across multiple surfaces, is now available in Reels and Feed on both Instagram and Facebook, and is now available for advertising. Generating text
Text generators create variations of your headline in addition to the main text.
Meta is currently testing the ability for generated text to reflect your brand's voice and tone by highlighting key selling points based on previous campaigns and text input. These enhancements are driven by advertiser feedback for a more diverse set of text suggestions that better reflects an advertiser's brand and key selling points.
This feature will soon be built on Meta Llama 3, the next generation of Meta's large-scale language model, which will enable new features and improve ad performance.
Meta has begun rolling out these updated generative AI capabilities and aims to have them available globally by the end of the year.

These updated generative AI capabilities, along with Meta's currently available creative extensions, are now available in Ads Manager through Advantage+ Creative to support businesses throughout the ad campaign creation process. By bringing all generative AI capabilities together in one place, businesses can reap the benefits of automation and generative AI at the same time. This means ads are created faster and performs better.
In addition to generative AI tools, Meta has recently updated several Meta Advantage products that businesses can use, including Advantage+ Creative Optimization and Advantage+ Catalog Ads.
