“May 21 is a day that highlights our commitment to providing Northwest Indiana businesses with the knowledge and tools they need to thrive in today’s dynamic environment,” Crossroads Chamber of Commerce said Dean, President and CEO of . “The panel promises to be a significant moment for our community by providing valuable insights, and the exhibition will provide networking opportunities for all attendees.”
Steven Munsterman, President of Cloudbusters, will moderate the panel as an experienced technology industry professional. With extensive experience in residential and commercial systems automation and IT services, he believes companies need to recognize that AI is more than just a buzzword.
“It exists as an unstoppable force of global change,” Munensterman said. “Winning businesses depends on embracing and mastering the relentless power of ever-evolving AI.”
The academic panel discussion aims to demystify AI concepts and highlight AI-related opportunities.
“Over the next 10 years, implementing AI methods and tools will no longer be an option, but a necessity for the survival of all organizations,” said Professor Holbotry, professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. “Rejecting AI in the 2020s is like refusing to use electricity in the 1920s.”
“AI will help develop the next generation of workers who will power industry by tackling complex problems and creating reliable, accurate and understandable solutions in fast-paced environments,” Professor Bamiatsis said.
Crossroads Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to providing participants with the knowledge and insight essential to succeed in today's rapidly evolving economy. From networking opportunities to thought-provoking panel discussions, this panel and exhibition provides a platform for businesses to stay ahead of the curve and leverage the full potential of AI.
“AI is not inherently difficult; the complexity lies in the hidden software,” says Muenstermann. “But its benefits are clear: it adds intrinsic financial value to a company, it facilitates operations for its users, and it serves as a learning tool to shape company culture.”
“Furthermore, it strengthens cybersecurity and ensures stronger defense against digital threats.”
