Mobi AI is a supply chain management application that collects product sales data directly from customer systems, helping solve the thorny problem of supply chain management: visibility into actual customer product usage. Mobi AI achieves this by linking directly to customer systems through online menus and works with most types of businesses including stores, hotels and restaurants. During this process, Mobi AI also updates product information and images.

To bring Mobi AI into the real world, MFMsoft first launched Mobi AI in collaboration with a local Coca-Cola bottling company.

“In January 2021, we began working with Reyes Coca-Cola, one of the world’s largest beverage companies, to create Mobi,” explained MFMsoft Founder and CEO Nick Karapetain. . “Reyes Coca-Cola’s goal was to create a software that would work seamlessly without disrupting the customer’s business because it could link to the customer’s system and capture real-time product sales data.”

Karapetain said that before deploying the software at the bottling company, there was no good way to capture real-time sales data.

“Before Mobi, consumer products companies like Reyes Coca-Cola didn’t have the digital solutions to capture real-time product sales data from their customers,” said Karapetein. “The only digital solution available to Reyes and other consumer products companies is to use API connectivity. No customer is allowed to connect.”

API connection

“The most important reason why customers don’t allow API connectivity is that API connectivity doesn’t allow you to make connections that are specific to your company’s SKU,” he said. “So if I was Reyes Coca-Cola, I would not be able to use the API to connect to the customer’s system, and I would only see my own Coca-Cola products. Once connected, we can see all sales data for all products, but why would a customer allow that?”

Karapetein said companies will have to deal with delays in getting data from customers. To make matters worse, only about 2% of customers did not send any data at all.

“With Mobi, Reyes Coca-Cola and other consumer products companies no longer have to wait for their customers to submit product sales data. We no longer have to run our business without a single person,” he said, adding that in return Mobi will provide links to all types of customers.

For companies with online menus, the integration is even more complete. “If the customer’s system is an online menu, Mobi Automation will automatically insert the company’s products and their images into the customer’s online menu,” Karapetein said.

According to the company, Mobi AI eliminates the need for human input in product data collection, saving time and improving accuracy.

“Our future is simple and direct,” he said. “We hope that every product or brand owner can license our software and use AI technology to get real-time product sales data from their customer systems.”
