Egypt’s Talaat Mustafa Group Holding (TMG) has signed a five-year strategic agreement with global technology company SAP to upgrade its digital infrastructure with a smart cloud platform based on enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications and business artificial intelligence.
The deal relies on the “RISE with SAP” service, which aims to transform real estate developers into data- and AI-driven enterprises by developing operational processes, increasing organizational flexibility and supporting sustainable growth plans.
Ahmed Abdallah, TMG’s executive vice president of information technology, and Augusta Spinelli, SAP’s regional president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), signed an agreement to deploy a digital platform that can keep pace with the group’s expansion plans.
The implementation aims to improve the quality of services and improve the quality of life for the more than 1.5 million residents living in cities and urban communities developed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
“The move to RISE with SAP and SAP Business AI establishes a smarter, more flexible digital platform that supports decision-making, improves business efficiency, and continues to achieve the Group’s goals in the next phase,” Abdallah said. He said the transformation will accelerate data processing, strengthen functional integration and improve operational efficiency.
The agreement builds on a nearly 20-year relationship that began in 2006 when TMG adopted SAP solutions as its primary business management platform. Over the years, the Group has continuously updated its digital infrastructure, moved to cloud computing, and in 2020 launched one of the region’s first integrated digital platforms for real estate sales.
Through RISE with SAP, TMG will update its ERP system while leveraging cloud operational services, continuous innovation, and the highest cybersecurity standards. The group plans to adopt SAP Business AI and advanced analytics to provide a more flexible and reliable operating environment, enhance business continuity, and scale its digital systems for future growth.
Artificial intelligence will serve as a central pillar of the new agreement. TMG plans to use SAP Business AI over the next few years to redesign and improve business processes, automate repetitive tasks, and support decision-making across various business areas.
Abdallah explained that the project’s impact extends beyond corporate operations to the development of services within urban communities. The group uses AI to analyze operational data, issue real-time metrics, and provide smart recommendations to improve the quality of service to residents.
“For the past few years, technology has remained one of the key pillars of Talat Mustafa Group’s future vision,” added Abdallah. He said the agreement opens a new phase of growth, innovation and operational excellence to maximize added value, enhance customer service and achieve sustainable value for shareholders.
Certified IT Consultants (CIC), a long-term strategic partner of SAP who has participated in all stages of TMG’s digital transformation since 2006, will run the implementation program. CIC will continue its role in supporting the Group’s transition to increased reliance on AI and smart analytics.
Spinelli said TMG continues to position itself as a leading company that introduces innovation in business development and improves the customer and resident experience. He said SAP is proud to strengthen its extensive partnership with the group.
“The combination of cloud ERP solutions, business data and SAP Business AI technology will enable the Group to build a more flexible and smarter digital base,” Spinelli said, adding that the platform will support future growth, enhance innovation, increase operational efficiency and enable advanced service delivery across TMG’s sectors and communities.
